There will be four series of expository lectures surveying recent developments in some special areas:

Hari Bercovici (Indiana University Bloomington, USA): Schubert Calculus and Operator Theory


Elias G. Katsoulis (East Carolina University, USA): Non-Selfadjoint Operator Algebras: dynamics, classification and C*-envelopes


David Kerr (Texas A&M University, USA): Amenability, Soficity, Entropy, and Operator Algebras


Dan Timotin (Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, Romania): Stable Polynomials and the Solution to the Kadison-Singer Conjecture
