In the 50's, to carry out society-type of activities, a number of branches of the Institute were set up outside Kolkata. The Karnataka Branch had its inception in Bangalore in 1954.

It is now the only surviving branch outside the Head Quarters

Activities of Karnataka Branch include:

  • Lecture programs by eminent persons in the area of Statistics, Social Sciences, Human Resources Development, Quality Management Economics and other subjects of general interests.
