Projects funded by ISI internal grants are being currently dealt with by SIRG members. These ongoing / proposed projects are on “Derivation of spatially significant set via spatial analysis and reasoning’ and “Pattern classification with granular neural networks”. This group is also taking part in preparation of IRSES project proposal for approval of EU. So far, two conferences and a short term course was organized with objectives relevant to SIRG. These conferences are on “Spatial Information Retrieval, Analysis, Reasoning and Modelling”, and “Mathematical Morphology in Image Analysis, Geomorphology, GISci” Details of these events could be seen at:
