The Odia-\(\TeX\) project is aimed at making \(\TeX\)-based professional typesetting in Odia, easier. Odia-\(\TeX\) may be viewed as a fork of the Oriya-\(\TeX\) project. Most of the hard work in designing the fonts has been done by Jeroen Hellingman in the Oriya-\(\TeX\) project. Anshuman Pandey has added some conjunctive consonants, written a C-based preprocessor (Copyright © 1996-2003, LPPL-GPL License). Here is the history of contributions to Oriya-\(\TeX\).
The main goal is to maintain and systematize the existing work, write elaborate user-friendly tutorials, write a user-friendly preprocessor, add missing conjunctive consonants.
