The other is RV College or Bangalore University, the latter comes first as you come on Mysore Road before the Institute and the former comes just after you pass the Institute. The institute is separated from Mysore Road by a manned railway crossing. Kengeri, is also a well known locality that is situtated past RV college.

Reaching Bangalore: Bangalore has one international airport There are two main train stations: (1) Bangalore City, (2)Yeshwantpur Railway Station. Almost all state run road transportation, the last stop is going to be the Majestic Bus stand.

From Airport: If you are taking a flight to Bangalore, as you come out of the baggage claim area, you will find many taxi counters. The one closest to the exit on your left is run by the government. All are pre-paid taxi counters, i.e. fixed rates to anywhere in the city.

Bangalore City Station: Prepaid Auto Stand exist. Taxis are also Available. These are located to your right as you exit platform one. There is one direct bus from Majestic bus stand. See below.

Majestic Bus Stand: The interstate bus stand adjoins the intracity bus stand. Consists of busses stoping near semi-circular archways. Take 222A which stands at the edge of the semi-circle closest to the Bangalore City station which is across the road. The bus 222A drops you at Jayaram Das, walk across the railway line and you are at the institute.
