To celebrate the completion of a decade of the B.Math. Hons. Programme at the Bangalore Centre of the institute, a conference will be held during

August 29 - 30, 2011

at the Platinum Jubilee Auditorium.

This will be a get-together of all the students, teachers and, of all those who were instrumental in the genesis of the B.Math.Hons. Programme.

As a part of this conference, we plan to have:

(a) Mathematical Talks

(b) A Discussion Session

(c) A Surprise item

(d) A special Dinner

(e) A Quiz Programme

The Discussion session would include the following features :

Some history on the birth of B.Math.Hons.

Comments and suggestions by students on the academic as well as non-academic aspects of the programme drawn from their experience and, their preparedness for the future programmes they went in to.

The Mathematical talks by the ex-students are aimed at introducing mathematical topics of their interests to the present students.
