WELCOME - This is the webpage of Outreach Committee at Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. The committee co-ordinates outreach activities (for example, visits to ISI of educational institutions, organizing ISI Math day and so on).
VISITS AND EVENTS
Here are some of the outreach activities organized at ISI.
- 18-Mar-25: Visit by 50 Students and faculty from Statistics Department of Maharani Women's College in Malleswaram.
- 14-Feb-25: Visit by 73 Students and 4 faculty members from the Department of Statistics, Veer Narmada Gujarat South University,Surat.
- 12-Jan-25: Madhava Mathematics Competition, Coordinator: Prof. Jaydeb Sarkar
- 12-Oct-24: Simon Marais Mathematics Competition, Coordinator: Prof. Soumyashant Nayak
- 24-Sep-24: Student Interaction with Zynga Games Network, Focus Engagement and Partnership for the Game Math Internship Program
- 19-Sep-24: Faculty and Student Interaction with Shiv Nadar Foundation and VidyaGyan Leadership Academy. Purpose: Visit by the Career Counselling group (Mr. Vikram Soni) to understand the institute's programs and student support systems.
- 16-Feb-24: Visit by 26 Students and 2 faculty from Department of Library and Information Science of Kannur University, Karnataka.
- 23-Nov-22: Visit by 40 Students from Soundarya Institute of Management and Science.
- 03-Jun-19: Visit by 16 Students from Institute for Excellence in Higher Education, Bhopal.
- 19-Jan-19: ISI Math Day - Attended by 200+ participants consisting mainly of students but also some parents and teachers. Recorded lectures can be found at
