Quantitative Geomorphologic Research Group (QGRG)—at Systems Science and Informatics Unit (SSIU), under Computer and Communication Sciences Division (CCSD) of Indian Statistical Institute—is a place for researchers, who qualified in ISI-JRF-CS to pursue research leading to a PhD degree (in Computer Science) by Indian Statistical Institute. Research topics related to quantitative geomorphology broadly include (i) information retrieval, (ii) visualization, (iii) analysis, (iv) reasoning, (v) spatio-temporal modelling, (vi) mathematical morphology, and several other geometrically vigorous theories, and their applications to deal with topics mentioned in (i-v). Enquiries from students, qualified to pursue research leading to PhD, are welcome to have in-depth discussion on these topics.
