Project: Playing with S3 Simulator.
Due: November 22nd, 2000
Solve the following Questions:

  1. Please pick your favourite particle system (need not be the one that you submitted earlier) from the simulator. Identify a real-life phenomena that this particle system is trying to model.
  2. Using the code from the simulation engine (or otherwise) describe precisely the mechanics of the model. Explain how and why you came to this conclusion.

  3. Set the model up in a precise mathematical manner (this maybe hard to do).

  4. For your favourite model, explain via simulated trials, the effect of initial conditions on the behaviour of the process. (i.e. what will happen long term if we start with certain intial conditions ? are their trivial states ?)

  5. No credit question Would you be interested in coding random phenomena in the future ? (yes or no)
