The project along with the summaries are given below. I will be happy to give you guidance, answer questions, and generally help you out. It is fine if you want to work in groups, so you may want to consult with friends in the class in your choice of subject.

Please choose a topic that interests you. As I said earlier, if you have another topic that you want to work on but is not listed below please feel free to come and discuss this with me (within the next week). The important thing to remember is that this is not a test per say. One should view this as a learning experience in which we find out something about a topic that will not be discussed in the course. Hope the summaries help you to choose a topic.
