Introduction to multilinear algebra: Review of linear algebra, multilinear forms, tensor products, wedge product, Grassmann ring, symmetric product. Definition and examples of representations,;
Group algebra and Maschkes Theorem, Schurs lemma, Characters and Schurs Orthogonality relations;
Burnsides pq theorem, Permutation
representations; Induced representations; Frobenius reciprocity law, Representation
theory of symmetric groups, Random walks on groups.
