International Congress of Mathematicians -- ICM 2010
The International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) is an event of unique significance to the mathematical community around the world. It is held once every four years. The venue for the Congress is chosen, from the bids received for it, by the International Mathematical Union. India has won the bid for holding the ICM in 2010. This is the first time the event is to happen in India and only the third time in Asia (after Kyoto - 1990 and Beijing - 2002). With the concurrence of the IMU it has been decided to hold ICM 2010 at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). A web page for the ICM 2010 is located at http://www.icm2010.org.in
