A two-week long summer school on “Mathematical Morphology in Geosciences” is going to be held during 24 March 2015 to 08 April 2015 at the Indian Statistical Institute-Bangalore Centre, Bangalore, India. This summer school is being organized at the suggestion of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The number of attendees is restricted to 20 in-service scientists and/or faculty members. These attendees would be selected by the DST. Those who are interested may contact the coordinator of the summer school at: bsdsagar@isibang.ac.in. The venue of this summer school is: II Floor Auditorium, Indian Statistical Institute-Bangalore Centre.

In October 2014, BS Daya Sagar has been included as Editorial Board Member of Computers & Geosciences (Elsevier Journal).
