This semester the algebra seminar series is on Nori Motives.
We did some ground work in November in which a couple of talks were given on an overview of Chow motives by Kalyan Banerjee and a couple talks for an overview of Voevodsky's triangulated category of motives by Vaibhav Vaish.
Nori's category is constructed in a different way from these two. The main source will be [HM].
All the talks will be from 11:30 to 1:00 usually on Tuesdays.
(1) (By Kalyan Banerjee) Lecture 1: 10/1/17
(1) (By U.C.) Lecture 3, 4 and 5: 17/1/17, 24/1/17 and 31/1/17
