For prospective young researchers aspiring to pursue research collaboration

Quantitative Geomorphologic Research Group (QGRG)—at Systems Science and Informatics Unit (SSIU), under Computer and Communication Sciences Division (CCSD) of Indian Statistical Institute—is a place for researchers, who qualified in ISI-JRF-CS to pursue research leading to a PhD degree (in Computer Science) by Indian Statistical Institute. Research topics related to spatial informatics broadly include (i) spatial information retrieval, (ii) geographical visualization, (iii) spatial analysis, (iv) spatial reasoning, (v) spatio-temporal modelling, (vi) mathematical morphology, and several other geometrically vigorous theories, and their applications to deal with topics mentioned in (i-v). Enquiries from students, qualified to pursue research leading to PhD, are welcome to have in-depth discussion on these topics.
